Contrasts

Our theme for extra time late this year is Contrasts. The Bible is full of ideas and statements which seem to be saying two opposite things! This can be confusing but we hope that as we spend time looking at them together in a bit more detail, we will see that Jesus was right when he said: “With God all things are possible.” We’ll also spend time singing and praying together as well as getting to know each other better too!

Monday: Burden / Rest

Achievement and success are often praised and sought after, it’s easy to feel the weight of our failures and shortcomings. But as Christians, we have a Saviour who is gentle and lowly in heart, and who invites us to find rest in Him. As we look at the heart of Jesus, and discover His character, we will find peace and rest for our souls.
