Contrasts

Our theme for extra time late this year is Contrasts. The Bible is full of ideas and statements which seem to be saying two opposite things! This can be confusing but we hope that as we spend time looking at them together in a bit more detail, we will see that Jesus was right when he said: “With God all things are possible.” We’ll also spend time singing and praying together as well as getting to know each other better too!

Sunday: Seen/Unseen

God has created an amazing world. A world where our families, friends, education, jobs, hobbies are all important. But what we can see right in front of us often obscures our view of what we cannot see! As we begin this exciting week together, our hope is that through Jesus, we will be able to judge between what is temporary, and will eventually pass away; and what is unseen but eternal and has lasting value.
