Is God really in control? (Daniel 1) The book of Daniel is full of twists and turns. It looked like God had abandoned his people when they were taken by force from their homeland to Babylon. A distant land with a new language, strange food and surrounded by idols! But what we see in this book, and the rest of the bible, is that God really is in control over all. We see time and time again that what man meant for evil, God meant for good. The same God is at work today, but how can we persevere and trust in Him when all seems to be against us?
